Role
As the Media Production Assistant and Coordinator, you would capture, edit, produce, and help conceptualise all multimedia needed by the various departments of the Jesuit Institute South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing various forms of media, from concept development to post-production to delivery.
Duties will include capturing (recording audio and video, both in the studio and in the field), directing (set design and choosing of locations, setting up and positioning of the equipment, directing the recording), and editing (editing and producing audio and audiovisual productions). This includes exporting in multiple formats, as necessary, depending on the various social media used.
The candidate will also operate and maintain computers and other equipment, research and purchase equipment where needed, and work with cameras, lights, audio, props, computers, and computer software.

The candidate will also be expected to assist with basic administrative duties in the office. These will include, but are not limited to, basic office tasks, answering the gate and telephone, preparing for and tidying up of the conference centre for in person events.

Salary is negotiable depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
